Olympic and Paralympic Games

Panasonic will be supporting the emotions of the Olympic Games as a TOP* sponsor at Tokyo 2020.

*TOP stands for "The Olympic Partner" and it means the highest ranking worldwide Olympic sponsor.

Panasonic strongly believes in the Olympic Movement and its aim to establish a better world through sports. Since 1988, Panasonic has supported both the Winter and Summer Olympic Games as the Official Worldwide Olympic Partner in the Audio-visual Equipment category. Furthermore, Panasonic has also signed an Official Worldwide Olympic Partnership agreement until 2024. We also signed an Official Worldwide Paralympic Partnership agreement until 2020. Upcoming Tokyo 2020, we will start our global sponsorship activities from here, in Ariake, one of the actual venues for the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
